Clayton house Wanaka

This house in Wanaka was required by a couple and their family as a holiday house.  The brief entailed a high ceiling, which was lined with an effective acoustic ceiling system, and polished concrete floors.  These, and the ample living space make it the perfect party house.  The cladding is western red cedar.  The house won Master Builder awards thanks to a builder who understood the degree of precision required for such a minimal design.
